Will my permanent makeup look natural?
As long as you don’t request a very dark color,YES. If you’re worried about how the result will look on your face, please book a consultation. We’ll draw a washable design so you can wear it for a day and see how you feel before committing.

What’s the difference between Nano Brows, Microblading, Powder Brows, and Combo Brows?

In short, the best choice depends on your skin type and the look you prefer—more natural or more makeup-like.
What’s the difference between Nano Brows and Microblading?
Huge difference! Compared with Microblading, Nano Brows are much less invasive, create a more natural and realistic result, and won’t cause scarring.
Microblading: we use a “micro-blade” to make tiny cuts in the skin. Leaves tiny cuts in the skin. Sensitive and mature skin may be more prone to scarring. (Even some younger people are prone to scarring from acne.)
Nano Brows: we use a super-fine needle to make tiny pokes and draw the eyebrow hairs one by one.The tiny openings created by the super-fine needle are usually already closed shortly after the procedure.
Which brow technique is best for my skin type?
Dry, normal, and youthful skin that doesn’t scar easily from acne:
All techniques can work — Nano Brows, Powder Brows, or Microblading.
Sensitive skin:
Nano Brows or Powder Brows.
Oily or combination skin with larger pores but sometimes feels dry:
Nano Brows or Powder Brows.
Very oily skin — with large pores and a consistently shiny appearance:
Powder Brows only.
Mature skin with good fullness around the brow bone or a good amount of body fat:
Nano Brows or Powder Brows.
Mature skin with a slim body type and more prominent, bony brow bones:
Powder Brows.
Can I see and approve my brow shape before the procedure begins?
Absolutely YES.
Before the procedure, we will always draw out the entire design to show you how your brows will look once finished. We won’t begin the procedure until you have approved every single detail.
Will you choose the brow shape and color for me, or can I customize them?
Please show us some inspo photos so we can understand what kind of style you’re looking for. We can create almost any look, but we need to know what style you want. If you’re not sure what you like, please visit the GALLERY tab in our website menu, screenshot the photos you like, and show them to us during your consultation.
We will then recreate the design on your face with pencils and show you how it looks. You can customize the shape, thickness, arch, and other details if needed.
EVERY SET OF BROWS IS DIFFERENT!
We never use one brow shape for everyone.
Does permanent makeup hurt?
We use numbing cream for all procedures. Even without numbing cream, most clients describe the discomfort as similar to tweezing. Permanent makeup needles work very superficially in the skin, and there is usually little to no blood throughout the procedure.
Compared with a traditional tattoo, permanent makeup procedures are much more superficial, and the discomfort is very minimal. In fact, many of our clients nap during the procedure! However, if you twitch or move while sleeping, we may have to wake you up and chat with you a little.
How long does permanent makeup last?
Do I need a touch-up after my first appointment?
There are two main types of pigments used in permanent makeup as of 2026:
semi-permanent and permanent pigments.
Semi-permanent pigments typically last around 12–18 months, depending on your metabolism, skin oiliness, sun exposure, and other factors.
Permanent pigments can last 3 years or longer.
Semi-permanent pigments will gradually fade and eventually disappear, while permanent pigments may fade cooler over time and may require color correction after about 2–3 years.
You are always welcome to choose which type of pigment you prefer.
For first-time clients, we usually recommend semi-permanent pigments so you don’t have to make a huge commitment to the design with your very first set of brows.
However, if you take certain medications or injections, semi-permanent pigments may not retain well. In that case, we may recommend using permanent pigments in a lighter color for your first session to avoid “brow shock.”
What should I expect during the healing process? Will my brows look too dark or intense right after the procedure?
You will need to follow aftercare instructions for 7 days for all procedures, and the final result can take 30–60 days to fully show.
Nano Brows and Eyeliner:
They may look about 20% darker or have a slightly red tone during the first week, but generally still look quite natural. You usually won’t need to worry about them looking too intense at work or during meetings. Once the dead skin has peeled off, usually after about 7 to 10 days, they will heal to a much softer, more neutral, and natural-looking result.
Powder Brows:
They may look about 20–40% darker or have a slightly red tone during the first week, depending on the type of pigment you choose. Once the dead skin has peeled off, usually after about 7 days, they will heal to a much softer, more neutral, and natural-looking result.
Lip Blush and Microblading:
They may look about 50–70% darker during the first week. Once the dead skin has peeled off, usually after about 7 days, they will heal to a much softer, more neutral, and natural-looking result.

What will my permanent makeup look like once it is fully healed?
We strongly believe in natural-looking results.

Can I get permanent makeup if I already have old microblading or previous permanent makeup?
It depends on the color and amount of pigment left from your previous work.

How long does the appointment take?
Appointments typically take 2–4 hours, depending on the procedure you choose.
Nano Brows: about 4 hours
Powder Brows, Microblading, Lip Blush, and Eyeliner: about 2–3 hours
Touch-up sessions: about 1.5–3 hours, depending on how well you followed the aftercare instructions and how much pigment your skin retained.
How should I prepare for my permanent makeup appointment?

Fill out the form we send you as soon as you book your appointment, so we can let you know which supplements, medications, or skincare ingredients you may need to stop as soon as possible.

Stop using Retinol, AHA, glycolic acid, and all other exfoliating ingredients from now until your touch-up session is completed.

No med spa treatments or fillers within 30 days of your procedure.

Do not exfoliate until your touch-up session is completed.

Make sure you are not taking antibiotics at the time of your procedure.
Can I go back to work, wear makeup, exercise, or wash my face after the procedure?
Please feel free to go back to work. Nothing should look too crazy right after the procedure.
First 48 hours: Keep the treated area away from water.
After 48 hours: You may gently wash your face with clean water, but please avoid facial cleansers on the treated area.
After 7 days: You may return to your normal face-washing routine.
Please avoid exercise for 7 days after the procedure. Excessive sweating may cause significant pigment loss and affect your healed results.
For Lip Blush clients, please do not wear a face mask over the treated area. Please avoid makeup on or around the treated area for 7 days to reduce the risk of infection.
Can I get permanent makeup if I recently had Botox or fillers, am pregnant or breastfeeding, or use Retinol?
Botox can help relax uneven brow muscles and make the brows look more even. If you regularly get Botox, we recommend having it touched up at least 30 days before your brow procedure, if preferred.
Please avoid Botox, fillers, and other med spa treatments within 30 days before your procedure.
Please stop using Retinol, AHA, glycolic acid, and other exfoliating ingredients from now until your touch-up session is completed.
We do not recommend permanent makeup during pregnancy or breastfeeding, as there is not enough research on its safety during this time. We’ll be happy to make you a beautiful mommy once you’re finished breastfeeding♥
How does the booking deposit work, and what is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
If you would like to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours before your procedure in order to keep your deposit.
What if I’m nervous or still not sure I’m ready for permanent makeup?
If you want permanent makeup but feel nervous about whether the design will suit you, please book a consultation. We can create a washable design so you can try it for a day, and we’ll answer all of your questions.
However, if you feel extremely nervous, please take your time before booking. We want every client to feel mentally ready and comfortable with the decision.
